SBBSecho (as of v2.3x) will export FTN netmail stored in the "mail" base to
*.msg. But Synchronet itself (sbbs), and specifically, the terminal server (the
traditional "bbs" part) still "sends" FTN netmail from users by creating .msg
files directly. Other means of sending FTN netmail (e.g. using the web
interface or SMTP) go to the "mail" base first and require SBBSecho to do the
exporting to .msg. In the future, all means of sending FTN netmail from within
Synchronet will go to the "mail" base first and what little FTN logic is baked
into Synchronet proper (e.g. sbbs.exe/sbbs.dll) will go away.
