I was mostly thinking of older versions of IE such as on W2K and W98. Opera is probably gaining a small advantage just because hackers are developing attacks for Firefox and IE. The latest Opera 8 occasionally ceases to function for me (hangs on reading site, doesn't even open a network connection. Very hard to reproduce.) But with Javascript enabled, Opera does repel invasive sites better than IE or Firefox. --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-5* Origin: Barktopia BBS Site http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/45) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 379/45 1 106/2000 633/267 |
