No doubt, which is a good reason for windows update to exist. However the
patches are also available as separate downloads from
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/current.aspx as 6 separate
security updates.
What I'm asking is why don't they just release one august security update
and list the 6 issues it fixes? Wouldn't that be much easier for the people
who use this method instead of windows update? That way we would have 9
patches (assuming 1 per month) this year instead of the current 43.
