DM> Q: What is there new game?
DM> Street Fighter 3, street fighter meets X-men ultra turbo to the tenth
DM> power? What is so different from regular good old Street Fighter two.
DM> A: Souped up graphics and a few different combo moves. Ryu will never
DM> grow up. Oh yeah! Sorry. You can't forget the differnet ending.
JF> THAT is a problem. While Capcom seems to be moving away from 2D
JF> fighters at last, their heritage has largely been incremental upgrades
JF> to the same engine. Their 3D games, at least the newer ones (such as
JF> SF Ex Plus Alpha) seem to have a slightly different gameplay style (as
JF> well as, of course, a different look & feel).
moving to 3d is the problem.. Capcom's 2d beat-em-ups are THE BEST fighters
available... Whilst I do like the 3d ex + alpha on the PS, I much prefer
the 2d games on the saturn.. (as the saturn versions are always faster,
smoother, & less cut down..)
