Subject: when to report ernings to Social Securrity
Fellow Federationists and friends,
Just a short while ago mary and I got off of the phone with a blind woman
who has just landed her first job. She is another blind telephone
operator at none other than U.S. Long-Distance. She receives Supplementle
Securrity Income, (SSI.) She was not sure when she should notify Social
Securrity of her change in her urnings since she isnow working. one
person told her that she did not have to report her urnings for one year;
i think I see a possible over payment coming here. But again I could be
wrong. I have always heard that one should report any change in urnings
immeediately. We want to see to it that this woman gets corect
information so if someone here can help us with corect information it
would be appreciated very much.
Thanks for your help. And now dinner is served.
Yours truly,
Peter Donahue
from the brig
