subject: Foxpro vs Clipper?

Hi Disen:
DA> So far, I know that they maintain different kinds of indexes.
If they are separate indices, you should have not trouble.
DA> Another question: regarding database files on a network. If a

DA> are there any special precautions to follow, or just the usual

 DA> maintained separately)
None, you should be OK. Clipper will give you a true compiled .EXE,
whereas FoxPro won't. Fox's indices are faster and serve larger files
much better. But Clipper has some neat things, too. I've enjoyed them
both. I think you will, too.
