Heh...   our main channel here has just started a `drama series' 
on Sunday nights whose picturings of human endeavour seem scraped 
from the most dismal of pornographers' lurid endeavours.

In response to a deluge of hostile letters, emails, txts and 
whatever,  the CEO came over all PC-like with a comment that they 
`were bound to offer fare in line with the TV Charter that 
informs, educates and entertains - and had not merely had the 
material complained of vetted by the Chief Censor, but had gone to 
extraordinary lengths to warn potential viewers that the content 
was such as required considerable viewer caution.  He felt that 
the channel could do little more to ensure all viewers had the 
opportunity to responsibly exercise their rightful choice.'

Quite clearly, he didn't say, stopping broadcasting the he-ing and 
she-ing, she-ing and she-ing or the all-in-togethering would also 
interfere with the channels ratings in non-complaining 
demographics and in the resulting advertising revenues...

`Maybe take notice' would be right...
