I've four brothers, one sister. One older bro and my JK> haha.. I have 4 sisters and 1 brother :) Poor guy :) :) Now that is a interesting. Me with four brothers and one sister. Poor gals! My brothers were the worst teasers. But sisters can be the same way? This reminds me. A cousin's first child was a boy. Then she had twin girls. Then (yes! we were all surprised!) expecting the fourth child, all hoped for a brother for the eldest. He got his wish too. Good thing, Those twin girls were quite alot fir him to handle alone. ............ JK> My family split things up a little like that as well.. The first three JK> (me included there) were pretty close in age, but the last three were JK> more years apart than the rest of us :) I wonder if it's true that children born close in years ARE closer in getting along. I guess it depends on personalities. Funny thing about the two youngest brothers is for awhile they couldn't figure out how us big teenagers called their mommy and daddy by the same names. Until they were about 5 and could understand 'brother, sister' they considered us four older sibs, grownups. ............ JK> Well, my perceptions of that kind of stuff are definitely colored by JK> my discussions with my husband.. he studied psychology at Johns JK> Hopkins.. but it's also colored by watching my own kids, and my JK> sisters/brother JK> Well since we're both form similar families, interested in psychology, married with children I bet we see fairly the same colors perhaps. I must be careful. I can really get going on psychology. So I'll be careful! :) (Avoid singing to the choir that is; my forte!) As said JK> a lot JK> In my family, that was definitely true.. youngest being spoiled a JK> lot.. _and_ the oldest was spoiled too though .. Matter of fact I JK> was the only normal, unspoiled one :) :) Of course I feel the same way about myself. The eldest was spoiled but I think due to his temperament. The favorite story is how when he was just standing up (car seats were not herd of in the fifties)- standing up in the front between mom and dad.. he'd have a fit at every red light.. so dad used to uh... time those lights just right so he could get through them without stopping. JK> > In my family the most motivated achievers turned out to be the two JK> > youngest. JK> Hmm.. no difference here with my sisters/brother, etc. Is it like this with you? My oldest brother and the third one are alike a lot;looks personality while my sister, and and second brother are a like a lot in looks and temperament. Then there's me and the youngest alike a lot. MY youngest brother is the dare devil in the family. He's a carpenter in CO now... single free and loving it. He's very adventurous. I'll tell you about my newfound terror of heights if you like... I feel adventurous as he is but he's much braver. you like. Cindy --- PPoint 3.01* Origin: Up a palm tree (1:3613/1275.13) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 3613/1275 123/500 106/2000 633/267 |
