Hi Chris -> > time. I figured I would throw a feeler out from Doc's Place=20 -> > in Florida and check both sites. Lo and behold, there's a=20 -> > bunch of us here listening to the air wheeze between our ears. :-) -> -> Yeah - this echo has certainly been very quiet for some time now. The -> FONiX Main Board has been awfully quiet these past few days as well. -> Hope this is not a trend! Photo sometimes slows down, then a new burst of activity will come along. -> I am actually struggling a little with the D100 but I know I am going to -> get it right. An SLR is so different from the Coolpix - even the -> pictures look and 'feel' different. Loving the challenge though - at the -> moment I am trying hard to figure out what difference (negatively) -> pushing the ISO rating to 400 will make... I am hoping that it will help -> me keep the photos sharp while hand-holding the camera. Like using a faster film, you will probably pick up a little grain. But considering that you are using a larger CCD than the 995, it shouldn't be as noticeable as it would there.. Using telephoto lens usually requires a tripod for sharpness. They get the image a few degrees closer, but also magnifies the shake factor by the same degree.
