ummm... hello? what use would it be to assign a produce ID to synchronet when
it doesn't do anything FTN related?? sbbsecho is the /only/ FTN tool used in
the synchronet bbs package...

serious question: have you installed synchronet and looked at its FTN offerings
or are you baseing all your arguments on a total lack of understanding how the
package works (aka: ignorance)???
