As Sara Goldstein communicated to Tami Cool's starship:
SG> Glad you like the idea of using medicine bottles. I generally ask the
SG> pharmacy to give me easy-open ones that are kinder on my hands. The
SG> wider the diameter of the top, the easier it will be to get the
SG> balance back into the jar.
I hadn't thought of using medicine bottles for embossing
powders. Mine all have those childproof lids and for me,
I think I'd prefer easy open containers for embossing
powders. However, I do use my RX bottles for confetti. I
x-stitched little designs, stiffened them and then glued
them on the lid of the RX bottle and put a ribbon and bow
around the outside of the bottls. I gave Christmas gifts
of the bottles with confetti of different shapes in
each one.
SG> Also, if any of your medication comes with the little barrels that
SG> absorb moisture, that will keep the ep from getting lumpy. It rarely
SG> does that and even then, I just stir it with a tooth pick.
I've never had a problem with the powders getting lumpy.
I don't know if that is because I work with them so often,
or simply that they are stored in containers with tight
lids.
