yes and no... it depends on if the 32bit libs are available... the same
goes for 16bit programs on 32bit systems... many folk don't/didn't know
there was a 16bit (sub)system on 32bit setups but without it, 16bit
software simply would not operate... one of the bugs that some folk might
remember was in the "thunking" code...
