CR> Your choice of parrot is really up to you. I don't think any one is
better
CR> than another and it depends on the owners personal taste. Mine is "Its
CR> parrot? I'll take it!" I do have a favorite thoogh, I want a Hyacinth
CR> Macaw.
TV> A Hyacinth Macaw, is that the solid blue one or the red one? If it's
TV> the blue one, I agree with you. It is a beautiful bird. I've also
TV> heard that parrots have a rather long lifespan. I don't know who I'd
TV> get to take the bird after I died. I suppose they do get rather
TV> attached to their owners.
The Hyacinth Macaw is the largest of all the Parrots. It is a solid Hyacinth
Blue and has Yellow Eye and Beak Rings. The are considered very Gentle and
a great Bird to own. The only fall backs are the Beak *Requires* something
to chew at all times like a dog rawhide bone. The other is that the are an
expensive bird, about $2000 if I'm not mistaken.
