Thank you, it is a very true statement, it is called ON-STAR and is a
service when you buy a top of the GM product or you can get it on less
cars, it is 3000->4000 dollars it comes on new Corvettes and Caddies
but can be added to any new GM. it can:
Track The Car like Lojack
Turn the engine on/off
Disable the engine
lock/unlock doors and trunk
all from your cell phone, how it works is you call the ON-STAR # (its a
800 #) you enter your personnal code that you were given, and the
function that you would like, this is sent to a satalight that sends
the infomation back to the on-star unit onboard in the car. the car
then responds with the command it was issued. Little Charlie Hunter can
call it bullshit all he wants, but all it takes is one phone call to a
GM dealer to confirm this.
