FDM> Yes, but I don't know how to say to VESA that I want a linear buffer!
FDM> Perhaps can U help me?
VESA was designed for real mode, 20-bit addressing. I'm not sure it is set
p
to make a linear buffer for you. However, if yoy know how much total memory
you have, and how much video memory you've got, you should be able to tell
Watcom to set up a selector at a specified absolute address. I've got 16MB
f
total RAM, and 1MB of VRAM, so I'd set the address as 00F00000 (if I had
Watcom).
