DS> Glad to see you're still around.
DS> Keep out of the hot sun.
Just hanging around in stealth mode stil basking in last month's 81 degree
Cayman water... sipping exotic rum drinks and looking forward to next month
in the Bahamas. (Shall I twist it some more?)
Did I read correctly that you had to cancel a dive on Wed? Dry or wet? I
thought I was the only one in the county who gave the weekday bus tours at
the Nubble something to talk about in the cold weather. Although my lawyer's
son picked up a couple of those heat packs for inside the wet suit and
he went out a few weeks ago. Maybe its the 25 year advantage in wisdom or
just that I'm getting old but I turned down the opportunity to join him.
Found a nice Danforth off Pierce Island this fall and a schooner anchor
(ca 1820 according to UNH) at Gossport a few weeks later. I've heard from
Jay at Portsmouth Scuba that there may be more "artifacts" in the river
under the Newcastle bridge that he hasn't found yet. I was surprised to hit
80+ feet in the channel opposit the navy yard. Did it twice. First time at
high tide and the second (duh) when it was running at 4 or 5 mph. Guess
hich
was the most fun? I suppose that's another learning experience.
I think cabin fever is setting in as I'm sitting here listening to the whir
of tires in the snow outside. I guess I'd best go give the poor soul a push
out of the snowbank before we have a real traffic jamb and my wife can't get
onto the street.
Keep shovelin'
