Hello Kim!
< Have you any other reports of any instability like this?
KL> Yes, msged 4.20 beta 3 is (in my opion) a flop there should not
KL> have been released, 4.10 and 4.20 beta 2 works (the a few bug).
I'll locate a copy of the beta 2 and install it!
ML> Looking forward to either a beta or a full release of the 4.30
ML> version!
KL> It will be a full release. And I hope it can live up to your
KL> expetations.
So far, save the few "quirks", I believe it will develop into a
very fine product rivaled by very few other editors.
ML> The personal mail scan in Msged takes about 3 to 5 times longer

ML> this?
KL> Yes a rewrite of the personal scan code _is_ very high on my list
KL> over thing to do in version 4.3? and so is advanced search like
KL> Timed.
Thanks! This is precisely the "active development" of which I speak.
Here is another suggestion. When editing a quoted message, is there a way
to have the internal editor mimick the way that timEd handles quoted lines?
If I split a quoted line with the internal timEd editor the text that
drops to the line below is prefaced with the quoted initials (e.g. KL>
). Or is there a switch in the configuration file that would control this
action?
ML> logical), 15 CDRoms, Max 3.01, Bink 2.60, DV 2.73, Squish 1.11,
ML> etc.
KL> Sigh if I only have this hardware ,-)
Sure didn't mean to "brag" here! I've been saving up for years
and adding a little at a time -- often buying someone's "broken"
gear and repairing it. (I am an electronics tech.) Sort of keeps it
"fun" to keep the system running top-notch...

KL> Make me think of music and nude girls ,-)
;-) You naughty boy!
Best regards,
Marc
