A car-to-car shooting on I-77?? Wow, that one didn't make the news or the
paper, so much as I saw! Interesting!

Hold on - let me check my copy of Police Call.....

OK, I've found it. Here's what it lists for the City of Parkersburg:

154.3400 ----- Fire Department Base
153.7700 ----- Fire Department Mobiles
155.4900 ----- Police Department
156.1500 ----- Police Department

The 156.1500 freq may be the one you are looking for. I have seen it
listed on several local frequency lists as a "switchover" frequency
and I have heard the officers on patrol tell HQ to go to switchover.
However, in five years of scanning this frequency, I have only heard
a conversation on it once and then only a part of it.

Wait a minute! Here's an old RatShack freq list that used to be free but
now they charge $5 for.... :-( It lists another freq for the Parkersburg
Police Dept. as 156.8800. It is marked as "detectives", but you will
probably want to take that with a grain of salt. Anyway, it is listed
as ParkPD, and I have never really monitored this freq. You may want
to give it a try. Police Call gives absolutely no listing for this
frequency in an eight-state frequency listing, though.

Please let me know what you find! I'd love to listen to something new in
that regard.

Glenn
