Hi there!  Just curious but does one need to have an amatuer radio license
to recieve rtty and faxes with out transmitting?  I'm sure this is probably
a stupid question but I do not have a license yet but I'm really interested
in this stuff.  I also saw a message a little while back about using the
soundblaster to decode rtty.  What sort of equipment does one need to get
into this hobby?  Also is it possible to recieve sattelite images with out
using a sattelite dish or is there some special equipment needed for this
as well?
