Warp 3 red with fixpack 26 installed.  No problems with running apps like 
Injoy, NS/2, WebEx etc but ma ping won't do it's thing.  Everytime I try to 
ping a valid address, a "unknown protocol" error message is generated.  I had 
a spot of bother a few days ago with some files getting toasted so I suspect 
something related to the ping program itself was set to the bit bucket.
Any suggestions on how to find out the basis of the problem greatly 
appreciated! :-)
