Good news. I just read in the Boat US mag that Congress has 
funded maintenance for the Loran C system. They are supposedly 
miffed that the system has not been updated via funds 
appropriated last year and are mandating an upgrade of the Loran 
system. Good new for me since I have been happy with my Raytheon 
Loran C Plotter.  I will post more info if anyone is interested.
