I had to enter the Windows Product Key for my one year old Sony Vaio for
the validation at the MS update site this afternoon. On many laptops ( mine
included ) the Product key is on the bottom and is starting to be a bit
worn. Nothing like pissing off legitimate customers as they try to enter
their keys again.
