Hey Marc,

Bummer, I use NetMgr to sort my mailing lists :-(

There is no direct conversion that I know of, Marc, but most of what you
want to do I believe can be done in MsgEd. Thee are a few quirks in MsgEd's
macro feature that I haven't quite figured out (and some seem to be version
dependent), however basically you use text for text messages and hex scan
codes for stuff like function keys, carriage returns, etc. The older docs
(like in the old DOS releases) used to cover this, but the latter docs
don't seem to. To be honest, I can't recall exactly WHERE I found the hex
codes, but here's some examples of what MsgEd can do (taken from my
Msged.cfg file):
;function 0 special startup macro
;function 1 thru function 10 for F1-F10 keys
;function 11 thru 20 for SHIFTED F1-F10
;function 21 thru 30 for CTL F1-F10
;function 31 thru 40 for ALT F1-F10
;NOTE F11 &above keys not supported
;semicolon comments out line
;Examples
function 21 cc: Al, Art, Ben, Ian, Nick, Staff
;generates cc's to the listed Aliases by entering the text
; cc: followed by the addresses of the aliases (internal Msged feature)
; I press whle in the first line of text of the message
function 23 cnet{at}unl.edu
; used to address mail to a list, simple text entry while at the TO: field
function 31 ^t
;deletes word with
function 32 \0x25
;deletes to end of line with * Origin: Mike's Point of Confusion (1:396/17.4)
