Bush is in a bit of a quandary -- he needs to take action against the
perpetrators, but her being pregnant could gain public sympathy FOR her and a
TOO harsh punishment might hurt votes for Bush!

I don't think they force convicted pregnant women to have abortions -- some
have even given birth in prison & were 'allowed' to raise their children there!
