I don't know enough about the differences between cmd.exe and monad shell
but it seems to me that since monad is being designed to make it easier for
admins to script stuff that it's got a lot more potential to be virus
friendly, no? I look at his code and I don't know everything it's doing so
I can't compare it to what you were doing but I'll take your point that you
can write a self replicating script in a .bat file.

What I do know is the guy likes writing virus and seems pretty excited
about the new capabilities. It should be obvious to anyone at that point
that a new infection target has now been pointed out and before it's
released and a million scripts which will force future versions to be
backwards compatible are written some additional consideration for security
and virus prevention should be put into it.

And for pete's sake, keep the IE team the hell away from it.
