And do you work 24/7? I some of the better jobs I have
gotten were found while I was working a second job.
One while I was working at a MD type job. I was "part
time" so I was limited to 35 hrs a week which meant
five hours a day seven days a week. Another time I was
working ten hrs a day six days a week. Both times I
still had time to 'shop' for a better job. Before
work, after work, during my lunch hour and even make
phone calls on my breaks.
You'd be surprised how many people will hire you even
though you don't really have the qualifications if you
show them you are a go getter. That may mean visiting
or calling the company every day. The best job I ever
had working for someone else was one that I was
"unqualified" for. I got it because I came in every
day and filled out another application and asked to see
the manager/owner. After close to a month of this they
hired me just so I'd quit bothering them :)

Wrong! Have you ever heard of working for yourself?
My brother-in-law was half bum and half journeyman
carpenter. When he needed money he'd load up his tools
and go out and look for a job. Most of the times they
were little handyman type jobs (repairing a barn roof,
building a work shed, etc) that paid between $100 and
$1000 dollars. He did all the work and got all of the
"benefits"/money.
