That is over simplistic Jane. Even for you.
The Feingold diet is based on more than just getting rid of salycilates.
It is also based on removing ALL artificial additives and colorings from the
diet, along with the salycilates and sugar.
And that is extremely difficult to do, because there are artificial coloring
and additives im most foods.
For example, when I tried it for my son, he would only drink chocolate milk,
so I had to make it from scratch, because there was artificial crap in the
pre-prepared stuff.
I had to use BAKER's Chocolate. The dark, unsweetened kind because the light
had sucrose in it.
I had to use extract of vanilla, not vanillin, because vanillin is
rtificial.
And so on.
Please, if you are going to discuss something, at least get the basics
correct.
It doesn't help your credibility when you leave out over half of the basic
theory.
Especially when it is a theory you espouse.

Bur first you have to determine whether it is ADHD, or a condition that
resembles it.
