Thanks, I assumed Symantec would ruin the PowerQuest products, but I didn't
think they had time to ruin it already. I've got 2003 ghost, and I guess
if I want more I'll go with acronis. What I do right now is just dual boot
to Win98 and from Win98 I can update the mirrored partitions of my hard
drive that I keep on a USB external hard drive. Its not a completely
automated process but it works. I've also used the dos utilities that come
with Partition Magic 7 to create partition duplicates from time to time,
but once you've done that once so the boot sectors and stuff are replicated
on the mirrored external drive, just xcopying over updates from time to
time under Win98 is all you need. I've also used Norton Utilities For DOS
8 to fire up disk editor and make copies of the relevant MBR, Partition
Tables, etc. All my drives are formatted FAT32 of course for this to work.
I prefer to avoid the inconvenience of NTFS for as long as I can, anyway.
