Wipeout Does have bright colours..  No not everything in the world is bright, 
but I DONT want Realism in games..  I can go outside & experience Realism 
first hand for myself when I want it..  I want exaggeration from my games..

I think the word you are looking for is Prequels, but is it okay to compare 
The original 1977 Space Invaders with the first Wing commander game, b'cos 
they are both prequels..?  Nope..
