CR> I was bored and desided to talk about my favorite subject. The Parrots
are
CR> a great pet and I love them.
TV> So do you have any parrots? If so, what kind, how many, what are
TV> their names, and so forth and so on? What type of parrot would you
TV> suggest for someone who has never had one before? We had a conyer (not
TV> sure about the spelling, but that's how it was pronounced ) once,
TV> but I wasn't really thrilled with the crazy bird. Actually it was
TV> kinda dumped on my husband and I when we got married, and I knew
TV> nothing whatsoever about birds. The parrots I've seen are just
TV> beautiful, but not knowing anything about them doesn't make it any
TV> easier to decide whether to get one or not. Guess I should check out
TV> the library, huh?
I have parrots, boy! do I have parrots! Roll call! There is Baby the
Goffin's Cockatoo, Jack the Orange-Winged Amazon, The Parakeets Sweetie,
BlueSky (Blue-Blue for short), Rover, Little John, and Demetry, The
ockatiels
George, Connie, Lucky, Mr. Spradles, Mic, and finnaly Tony.
Your choice of parrot is really up to you. I don't think any one is better
than another and it depends on the owners personal taste. Mine is "Its a
parrot? I'll take it!" I do have a favorite thoogh, I want a Hyacinth
Macaw.
Go to the library to seek the knowledge. Learn first so you have as little
mishaps as possible, (I've been down that street!). I have a few tips:
* Be careful with nonstick pans! Fumes from burning teflon will kill your
pirds lickity spliot!
* Food No-No's : Avacado, Cola, Choclate.
* When chasing a bird be slow! (Crippled a parakeet that way, no longer
with me).
Hope this helps.

note: this message is dedicated to the lost parakets Boomer, Buster,
nowflake
and True Blue
... My hard disk is full! Maybe I'll try this message section thing.
