Start by leaving the light on less, and making sure the tank isn't getting 
direct sunlight.  Secondly, add something that will eat the algae while it is 
still microscopic in size.  I like snails, but there are several choices.  
Just remember that Chinese Algae Eaters are not from China and they don't eat 
algae.  Also, the addition of live plants will slow the growth of algae, 
since the algae must share its nutrients with the plants.
