So doesn't mine! Cosmo (shih tzu) looks and acts much perkier after
a haircut. (That's going from five inches to one/two inches hair length) I
don't think that is vanity though, they just feel cooler? :)

BUT I submit this. He definitely doesn't like it when his butt gets too
close a shave. On a walk he'll keep sitting down.. we're not sure this
is because he's embarrassed or because the breeze tickles his butt. :)
