From: "Glenn Meadows"

The latest Ghost I've got is 2003, and it bombs everytime I've tried to
image my 32gig laptop drive onto a 60gig drive. Depending on the switch
options, I either get a blinking cursor where the OS select option comes
up, OR, with a different switch combination, I get a bootable disk, and
once, the entire D drive was lost to a check disk that ran during boot. I
re-imaged just that partition from the original drive, and the new HD
booted. When I went to manage the partition sizes, then I got a fatal
warning that the partition structure was incorrect, and all my data was at
risk, and I would need to format the drive and start over.

Not a happy camper.

I've tried FIXMBR, NEWMBR, as well as a Repair from the Recovery Console.
All the Repair got me was what was essentially a clean XP install, with no
apps installed.

I'm ready to "give up the Ghost" and move on.

Acronis looked like the best from the products I've researched so far.

I've got this nice new 60gig 7200 RPM drive I'd like to be using someday...LOL...
