-> Thanks for the heads-up on the paddock boots. Did the women send the
-> boots back under the warranty program? How did the company respond?
One did and they replaced them. The boots they replaced them with
didn't last more than a couple of months either. In my case they did
nothing. I really think I should have been warned. I'm really
disappointed in the Ariats. I don't think anyone out at the barn is
wearing them anymore. I know the one woman is back in Justins, a couple
of us wear the sneakers,(the only shoes I've ever worn that never hurt).
-> You know, if these boots don't perform as they say in the ads, it's
-> really too bad, because we could all use comfortable boots. In
Isn't that the truth. The difference in the quality of the mens and
womens boots still makes me MAD. If I pay over a hundred dollars for
boots I expect them to last for a couple of years and to look good for
more than a month.
-> But I can see how they could be too inflexible for other people who
-> didn't have the same stability problems I do. Maybe I'm just
-> nostalgic for the heavy corrective shoes they put me in as a child.
-> ;-)
Flexibilty wasn't a problem, they were a trace heavier than I like. I
wish someone (even Ariat) would make a good gel sole that I could add to
my regular boots and shoes.
