A suggestion. People who run 800*600 monitors are quite used to having
640*480 programs run in part of their screen. Moreover, they probably like
it that way, because it allows corners of other programs to stick out and be
available for clicking.
So, if you are a developer working at 640*480, be sure that other people see
the size of your App. as a problem before you waste time fixing the
"problem". How do I know ? I wasted days fixing this one myself before I
realized it was not a problem to my end users.
If you have to fix the problem, it's a matter of re-scaling the screens.
Particularly in W95 this is no easy task, because W95 screens are less than
800*600 by the amount of the various toolbars that W95 itself and other
"suites" tend to leave lying in unpredictable locations around the edges of
the screen.
