I have a little experience programming in FoxPro 2.x (DOS). But I
haven't tried programming in Clipper 5.x yet.
What are the main differences between FoxPro 2.x and Clipper 5.x?
So far, I know that they maintain different kinds of indexes.
Another question: regarding database files on a network. If a
certain database file was created with Clipper 5.x and another
FoxPro 2.x program is going to access this same database file,
are there any special precautions to follow, or just the usual
file and record-locking procedures? (Of course, indexes are
maintained separately)
