I've already expounded on why the 356 Porsche was such a killer -
*especially* to 20-somethings who thought their reaction time infinitely
short, and their immortality a decided matter.  An old duffer like yours
truly (now) would be in trouble on the first greasy corner.

But the single most treacherous car I ever drove was a Kharmann with a bent
chassis and play in the steering, on one of those narrow NY State 1920s
parkways, in heavy traffic.  A most chastening experence, just trying to
stay clear of the guard rail on one side and the mega-wide dinosaur sedans
on the other, all at a blistering 45-50mph.
