I stopped by RS to look at one and was told that it will work on the local
system. However did not get to see, and play with, it as not in stock.

That was one of the big points pushed here when they were after the money to
setup the system.

I'm leaning towards a handheld as my handheld is geting a bit long in the
tooth, RS pro-32, and does not cover some freqs I would like.
Of course it's Christmas I'll just tell everybody that I thought they would
like to contribute their present money to my new scanners, and get one of
each.
