 Ma> Tonight I had a particular gift.  An older woman who founded our 
 Ma> Survivors of Incest Anonymous group and who is thirty years sober in
 Ma> AA came and got me to bring me to the SIA meeting.  Nobody but us
 Ma> showed  up, so she took me on an errand with her and we got a chance to
 Ma> talk. I've known this woman before I was in SIA back when I was a
 Ma> Publically  Practising Pagan Priestess as her Higher Power is also a
 Ma> feminine One. She gave me a gift for the holiday and also sent a gift
 Ma> for the  household - both my husband and i - and they were LOVELY
 Ma> (superb);  however, the greatest gift was getting to spend some time
 Ma> with this  busy lady.

 Ma> I've been able to work out a way to go to the anniversary/holiday
 Ma> party for the group I go to when I can too, I think.  So I think all in
 Ma> all  it is going to be a good holiday season for us.  I am also taking

 Ma> a  meeting, exchange gifts, etc.  I think it'll turn out okay.

 All of the above sounds wonderful...the greatest gift is the giving of
 oneself and you seem to be doing that...all the paths lead to happiness
 if we let the *One* make the decission for us...not blindly but with 
 love and grace...Have a healthy Official New Year....
