What do you mean "interfacing with the modem"? Do you mean:
- putting/receiving characters (data) through the serial port?
- USR-specific commands?
If it is the former, which platform are you writing for? (i.e., DOS,
Windows, Win32, OS/2, Mac, Linux/other unix, etc) I'm guessing you want to
write for Win32 (Win95?), but even then, I can't be sure. Also, what
compiler are you using? (i.e., Borland, Watcom, MS, IBM, GCC, etc.)
It's kinda hard to help when your question is somewhat vague, and the implied
question deals with very platform-specific (i.e., non-portable) code/APIs.
Simply put the information in your message that you have, and what you've
figured out so far, and someone might know how to help. That said, I won't
guarantee help - I'm not sure how many people have played with speakerphone
programming. :-)
