VN :> Hey, Meg, I saw an envelope with your return address
VN :>on it the day that I had some people come and clean both
VN :>houses - cleaning isn't my forte so it was easier to have
VN :>someone come in. Anyway, it got moved and now I can't find
VN :>it but I will continue looking for it. I am NOT ignoring
VN :>it!
No problem. Was just wondering how you were doing. Did Barbara give you the
message I called a while back?
VN :> Right now, my neighbor across the street is riding
VN :>Spot - she has a Russian Arab gelding with quite an
VN :>attitude so it is a treat for her to be able to ride a
VN :>horse you can almost fall asleep on. She also gives her
VN :>kids rides when she is done - I was tickled pink last week
Ah! Like Shiloh and Fiddle! Glad Spot has new friends (g).
VN :> Speaking of whom, he is looking really good - I think
VN :>a LOT of it is Kathryn's damn LONG LEGS! She not only is a
Oh, yes....those long legs! As I recall one of our conversations, you and I
were going to return in our next life as tall, skinny, and with loooong
rider's legs (g).
VN :>terrific trainer (taught by Mrs. Braswell) but has long
How is Mrs. Braswell? Glad you've got someone she taught working Dub.
And...don't be afraid to ride him ! There's nothing worse than a horse who
will go well for only one rider! And if he's getting trained well, riding
him will only do your riding skills a ton of good!
VN :> How are your two wild ones doing? Is it getting warm
VN :>enough to ride yet?
Fiddle's fine. Been working on her canter (when it isn't raining), and
taking her out and about the yard and street near the house. She's doing
quite well! Shiloh, on the other hand, developed a huge stone bruise on her
right front sole, so she's been out of commission for a couple of weeks. It's
healing slowly...driving me nuts! The weather is finally pretty good, and
the kids are eager to ride...but now we've got this to contend with! Geesh!
Fiddle's doing so well, BTW, that I'm considering using her towards the end
of the summer for some of the kids who's skills are good enough. God knows,
she could use the attention.
VN :> More later - is something wrong with our feed or is
VN :>the traffic down?
Way down. Can't tell you how glad I am to see you back!!! Hope things are
going OK. In case you can't find that envelope (g), my address is 411
Linebrook Road, Ipswich, MA 01938. Do you have netmail capability? Or an
e-mail address?
Carrots to Spot and Dub! Sounds like you're all enjoying your new
neighborhood!!
Meg
