* EleBBS Support List OPPS looks like I introduced a bug when I converted it over to user variable instead of being hardcoded for my bbs. it should actually be cp $NODEDIR$1 $DOSEMUDIR/node$1 -R I will update and actually place a link to files on my webpage. That wasy people can get updates as I make them. > Im thinking multinode compatibility. I could be way wrong here because I > don't know if DOSEMU requires a certain directory preconfigured or not.. DOSEMU uses a shared directory. just like a normal dos machine. All multi-user applications MUST be handled by the dos program. This can lead to problems with some programs that are non-bbs based programs. If more then one user access's them simultaniously. So far I have not run into any programs with problems. However when/if I do, I will write in a lock routine that will only allow 1 person at a time in program. Otherwise the script would have to keep track of X number of copies of data this will cause proglems with scores and maps in games. _______________________________________________________________ --- Internet Rex 2.29* Origin: The gateway at The Snake (2:280/4312.101) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 280/4312 774/605 123/500 106/2000 633/267 |
