re- maybe I finally hurt enough? - The great thing about AA and the 
echoes here and NA is that I can hear about someone ELSE hitting their 
head against ye olde brick wall and how it hurts, instead of having to 
do so for myself.  Keeping it green, is what they used to call it - 
that and "thinking through the drink" too.   I hope too hope I've 
"finally hurt enough" to continue to stay sober a day at a time, 
consecutively.  (I add that last word for myself, I need it)
