I'm going to be looking for a roofer for our house beginning next week. The
work probably won't get done til after the rainy season, but I want to get
estimates and settle on one now, while they aren't too busy.
Our home is a stick-built, stucco California house with a steep pitched roof.
(Those in snow country would love our roof, but I'm sure roofers won't.)
Current roofing material is asphalt
shingle, I believe. The roof is almost 20 years old, as that is the age of
the house.
Other than for an estimate in time and materials, what other questions should
I ask a roofer before employing one? This is something that we want to do
just once.
