 Below added to remain on Echo Topic;
 And us scanner unses do apprechiate AC power because the Transformer Heat
cooks our Radios so we need to replace them more often.
A convient excuse to Upgrade if the Comapnion is reluctant.  Honey that 
darned Transformer had riined my radio again, I might as well get that 
Trunk Tracker I talked to you about the other day.  :-)
