All of the systems can be heard as analog audio - if that is the way that the 
system is set up.  In fact, Motorola systems are now going to more likely be 
digital as we go into the future.  Motorola is really pushing the "Astro" 
digital formats.  (Yes, there are several formats - and a radio set up for 
one format will not receive the other!)
