Sure you do... One man, one vote. What you don't have a choice in is
to, as an individual, violate a law without jeopardy just because you
don't agree with it.
RB>RT> Pretty thin argument Ryan. I'm not buying it. But if I did, there

You are correct, everything is expensive, quality or not, but that
doesn't stop you from doing whatever must be done to improve your
situation. So you have to live below your "standard" for a time until
you get in a position to bargain for better... so _sacrifice_ a bit of
the present for a brighter future. We've all been there at one time or
another.
RB>RT> You ain't black and this ain't the 50's and 60's. Don't try to

Yes, absolutely. And thousands of black folks WERE arrested when they
sat in the front seat of the bus and drank from the "WHITE ONLY"
fountain. They had a cause and they knew they were right. They were
willing to accept incarceration instead of oppression. They CHOSE to
break the law and in turn CHOSE to be arrested. Know what??? It worked!
The lawmakers noticed what was going on and changed those stupid racist
laws and turned loose all those black folks that had broken them.
You want to do the same process to get marijuana laws changed? Go for
it, but don't come back whining because the mean old policeman put your
butt in jail... it was your choice to break the law.
  >The point I'm making is that because you break a law
  >does not necessarily mean it is your FAULT for getting arrested.
That may be your point, but it flies in the face of common sense and
logic.
RB>Yeah, well I know plenty of kids who work at Kroger's (or something like
it)

  >doesn't pay enough.
Bull! They commit crimes because they are criminals. I don't believe
for a second that you know kids who work for minimum wage then commit
crimes for a second income. Why, the wage they make at Kroger's would
be a _fraction_ of just one drug deal. No way anyone is going to make a
couple hundred bucks on the corner in five minutes, then faithfully
report to work in the stockroom for 40 bucks a day. If he is
predisposed to deal, he ain't gonna waste his time at Kroger's and
