      Bob Kohl:
I read through this sub on occasion and have
found you are quite the information guy, So I
 have a question for you.
How can one tell a mare is pregnant besides
the obvious? A friend of mine bought a mare
which is supposed to be pregnant but is not showing
signs. My friend is worried he got suckered and the mare
was just fat and is actually dry. Is a vet the only way to go
to tell? The mare was bought based on the fact
of her being pregnant as she can not be ridden due to
 bad leg problems.
Anyone else out there who might have gone through the same
 please give me your advice.
thank-you so much Mr. Kohl for your time.
        tj
