Yes you can, ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/

I aborted my initial install and found it had loaded that stupid download
manager even though I told it to undo all the install changes, so I had to
uninstall the download mangler myself. Then I went hunting for the full
version download and found it at the ftp site.

Then after installing it I had to find the stupid option to turn off that
damn automatic update thing, javascript, and a few other less than secure
options (like launching programs and such). Then I had to load the 3
patches (also found on the ftp site) 7.0.1 thru 7.0.3 to make it immune to
the published exploits.

Now that it's been neutered, patched, and locked in, it's not so bad, seems
to fire up pretty quick compared to ver 6.
