"new" Senators (now the Texas Rangers) were an even bigger failure. When's 
the next baseball expansion? Maybe Washington will get a new team then.
BTW where do you think the Twins will wind up in North Carolina if their move 
is approved, the Triad (Greensboro-High Point-Winston Salem) or Charlotte? I 
have a feeling that the voters in Forsyth and Guilford Counties will not 
approve the Triad stadium tax, so I'm betting on Charlotte.
